These Pokemon Font SVG files are part of our Font category, where we organize all font and lettering designs in one place. This category includes a wide range of playful, bold, and display-ready SVG files created for apparel, custom projects, and DIY crafts.
Because this font has thick strokes and rounded edges, you can generally use a higher Speed setting. However, if you are cutting small text, reduce the Force (pressure) slightly to prevent the blade from dragging the centers of the letters (like the holes in ‘O’ or ‘B’) off the carrier sheet during the cut.
Use Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) for soft surfaces like cotton shirts or hoodies, as the heat-activated adhesive bonds with the fibers. Use 651 Adhesive Vinyl for hard surfaces like water bottles or game consoles. Always remember that HTV requires the design to be mirrored horizontally before cutting.
To mimic the classic yellow and blue look, create an Offset of your text in yellow. Then, place your original blue font on top. If you want a thin gap between them, select both and use ‘Slice.’ This removes the overlapping area, allowing you to layer them perfectly flat without one color bulging over the other.
Use Attach to keep your letters exactly where you placed them on the canvas relative to each other. Use Weld if your letters are touching and you want the machine to treat them as one single, continuous path. For this font, Welding ensures a clean, single-piece pull when you begin weeding.
If the internal loops of lowercase letters are too small to weed easily, use the ‘Contour’ tool in your software to hide those small paths. This turns the letters into solid silhouettes, which can often look more professional and ‘pop’ better when used for large-scale wall decals or signage.
